Full Job Description :-
Accounting and Administrative Support:
Job descriptionAccounting

Assists in preparation of financial reports and various accounting statements
Assist in monthly reconciliations
Assists in providing back up documentation for annual financial audit
Proofs accounting reports for clerical accuracy
Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures
Maintain spreadsheet of project managers and identify who is responsible for authorizing payments
Provide project details as required to the accounting department
Assist accounting with project close out documentation
Create Invoices, cheques, payments, emails

Administrative

Performs a wide variety of assignments which may be confidential in nature and require research to complete; operates personal computer to compose, edit, revise, tabulate, and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials.
Assist CEO with Outlook Calendar
Greets and directs visitors and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of department/division; accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls; maintains log of inquiries as required.
Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters.
Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail, drafts or prepares responses to routine inquiries, and operates a variety of office equipment.
Establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents.
Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules interviews and appointments; performs other duties related to maintaining one or more individual schedules.
Shared responsibility with Office Manager – Office supply duties i.e orders, stocks, and distribution of supplies
Organize and Maintain project files

Required Skills/Abilities:

Accounts receivable experience essential
Proficient in Quickbooks software
Mid to Advanced level of experience of Excel
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Data entry skills on both Quickbooks and Excel
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
Organizing and coordinating skills
Receptionist skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience:

Some College or High school diploma
Quickbooks Trg
Accounts/Bookkeeper Training

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
