Summary of Primary Function
Under the direction of the Master Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program Director, provides administrative infrastructure and oversight of program operations for the MPAS Program.Develops, implements, and revises ongoing evolution of technology-driven departmental processes that enable faculty to focus on curriculum, teaching, scholarship and service. Performs a wide array of tasks such as managing information requests, composing original correspondence, processing highly confidential/sensitive materials, generating reports, taking meeting minutes, assisting with budgeting, organizing PA admissions and other special events; establishes priorities utilizing excellent organizational ability and interpersonal skills. Coordinates program data collection and correspondence in compliance with the ARC-PA and program policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions

Oversees and executes comprehensive, integrated departmental processes in close communication with the program director: Facilitates data collections, entry and management involving WebAdmit/CASPA (PA Admissions), Microsoft Office, course management system and PA database software in compliance with the ARC-PA for preparation of appropriate documents, reports, or responses.
Plans, hosts, and contributes to various functions for the PA program and college/university including PA White Coat Ceremony, admissions interviews and open houses, Advisory Committee, orientation, graduation, and other special events.
Utilizes knowledge of college, accreditation, and federal policies and procedures to gather and interpret data and information to contribute to complex reports.
Responds to written, telephone, and personal inquiries and requests for information, including screening calls, correspondence and visitors from within and outside of the college.
Investigates procurement options, manages ordering of PA office and laboratory supplies and equipment; processes purchase orders, expense and travel vouchers, supply requests and organizational memberships; reconciles budgets; and collaborates with data set collection for annual budgeting processes.
Organizes and distributes meeting materials, including, but not limited to, agendas, minutes, and other documentation; attends meetings and takes minutes; maintains accurate and appropriate records.
Contributes to the creation and updating of marketing audience materials to attract students to the program, and coordinates the applicant interview and acceptance process.

Employment Qualifications
Required Minimum Education: 4 year/ Bachelors Degree
Preferred Education: Graduate Degree (Masters)

Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 5 years of administrative experience with excellent oral and written communication skills, including command of the English language and the ability to adhere to FERPA for sensitive and confidential materials.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Proficient in software and hardware (Google, Microsoft Office, etc.) Critical analysis and creative thinking; self-motivated; ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines with significant interruptions
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology and of health care/health care education culture. Ability to work with various constituencies, including administration, faculty, staff and students.
