Full Job Description :-
Provides visible and concrete spiritual leadership of the school community and ensures that appropriate religious and school ministry activities occur regularly.
Cultivate and maintain a culture of prayer among school staff.
Ensure that all administrative decisions made in the school abide by the school’s mission statement.
In collaboration with the Principal, assist with the writing, editing, and updating of the school’s strategic plan.
In collaboration with the Principal, oversee the smooth and effective daily operations management of the school including running School Advisory Committee (SAC) meetings.
In collaboration with the Principal, coordinate the MNSAA accreditation and DHS licensing processes.
Support and assist school academic staff in sustaining and improving the school’s academic program by leading accreditation processes and procedures.
Provide individual professional development for the guides and assistants.
In collaboration with the Principal, coordinate the academic and Catholic Identity accreditation processes.
Act as and schedule classroom assistant, guide, specialist, substitute, chaperone, and supervisor of students as needed or assigned.
Facilitate and lead school gatherings and celebrations, and parent education sessions, etc. in collaboration with the principal.
Foster effective communication among staff, volunteers, and parents.
Update and maintain the school handbook and school policies that affect the daily operations of the school.
Work with Office Manager to purchase Montessori materials and other academic resources.
Set the school’s and staff’s daily schedules.
Develop, manage, and supervise the Extended Day, SOAR, non-school day care, and annual summer programs.
Collaborate with the Principal and the Minnetonka School District to obtain academic, financial, health, and special needs resources.
HUMAN RESOURCES LEADERSHIP
In collaboration with the Principal, post and conduct hiring policies in a timely manner utilizing best practices and oversee new employee on-boarding.
Update and maintain current position descriptions.
Set work schedules for non-exempt staff, review and verify bimonthly timesheets, and prepare for Principal approval and signature.
In collaboration with the Principal, advocate for and facilitate staff compensation packages.
In collaboration with the Principal, update and maintain the employee handbook and current personnel policies.
Respond in a professional and timely manner to parents, staff and outside entities.
Direct and lead volunteer committees.
In collaboration with the Principal, develop the criteria for admission to the school and determine the admission of students.
Oversee and facilitate Continuous Enrollment for current students.
Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure security, maintenance, and a safe, positive environment within the school building and grounds, including the oversight of drills (fire, tornado, lock-down, unsafe adult, etc).
Monitor and respond to feedback from students and parents which may impact the school environment.
Manage E3 training and tracking system in Virtus
In collaboration with the Principal, ensure consistent budgeting assumptions and manage the school’s overall finances.
Conduct market research to guide annual tuition setting process.
In collaboration with the Principal, set fundraising goals and oversee fundraising activities for the school.
INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT LEADERSHIP
In collaboration with the Principal, facilitate and lead outreach and recruitment events.
Facilitate the creation and procurement of marketing materials to promote the school to both internal and external audiences.
In collaboration with marketing efforts, facilitate public relationships such as school/church events (Fish Fry, Catholic Schools Week, Pancake Breakfast, Parish Gala, summer activities, etc.)
Ensure strong representation of the life of the school ministry to the larger St. John the Baptist community through Bulletin content, monthly eNewsletter content, and social media channels.
Identify and pursue grant opportunities for the school.
Coordinate the writing and publication of the School Annual Report and distribution to key stakeholders.
