KIT Custom HomeBuilders is seeking an Assistant Production Manager at our manufactured housing production plant in Caldwell, Idaho. Salary starts from $125,000.00 annually (base & bonus).
The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of all production departments with the assistance of the production foremen and supervisors. Provides constant communication, feedback, and recognition to employees and directs/coordinates the production areas to work and communicate effectively with Safety, Quality Assurance, and Training.

Requirements:
:
5+ years of upper-level production management experience, including managing/leading teams of 50+ members.
Previous experience in construction; specific manufactured housing experience desired.
Ability to read and understand home building specifications.
High level of interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written.
Prior experience with on-the-job use of MS Office programs.
Prior experience with managing employee hiring, evaluations, retention, termination, and coordinating with HR Department for disciplinary actions and compliance.
Ability to lead others with a diplomatic, collaborative approach.
Ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
Punctual, and skilled at time management, organization, and multi-tasking.
Must be a highly motivated, self-starter who operates effectively without close supervision and utilizes resources to assist with accomplishing goals and objectives of the company.
High school diploma/GED; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
