Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager.Department: F&B ServiceReports to: Restaurant Manager.We are looking for a passionate & experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our fast growing, multi-cuisine restaurant, who can recommend and meet budgets and goals by leading a service team. Ensure quality service standards with personalized guest attention and with excellent communication skills, great customer service skills, staff management skills, and restaurant management skills.Duties and responsibilities: 1. Lead, train and motivate a service team.2. Meet and greet the customers with a warm, positive, friendly, and exuberant attitude and develop a personal guest database to ensure continued patronage.3. Conduct daily briefings ensuring two-way communication, training, and policy information.4. Overseeing restaurant staff performance, ensuring quality dining5. Check the mis-en-scene and mis-en-place done by the team.6. Develop innovative ways and come up with creative idea to increase the sales of the restaurant by up-selling menu items, food promotions, merchandising, etc.7. Schedule staff rotations and duties and organize extra hands when required.8. Ensure the safety and hygiene of the restaurant.9. Maintain discipline and conduct staff appraisals.10. Coordinate with the chef for menu offers and operational coordination.11. Coordinate with other departments for the smooth supply of operational supplies.12. Responsible for proper billing and cash recovery for services rendered.13. Resolve guest and staff complaints and grievances.14. Represent the restaurant in Food and Beverage meetings and conferences.15. Conduct periodic restaurant analysis, competition analysis, and industry analysis.16. Recommend and monitor a budget and plan for the year.17. Control expenses of the restaurant.18. Continuous learning and enhancement of the skill set on periodic basis.19. Preferably have a network to get in the manpower required for the operations of the restaurant through own sources.20. Assist with the recruitment process to hire new staff.21. Arrange for new employees proper onboarding and scheduling trainings.22. Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements for the same.Requirements: 1. Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar managerial role in the restaurant industry.2. Experience in planning and budgeting.3. Knowledge of restaurant service and guest handling.4. Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking ability.5. Excellent communication skills. Required: English, Hindi. Desirable: Konkani/Marathi.6. Training skills.7. Guest handling skills.8. Etiquette’s and manners.9. Supervisory and management skills.10. Personable and well-groomed.11.
