The Role
The tipping point in Rebel Foods’ journey has been the shift to the cloud kitchen model and launching of
new brands. “New BRANDS” – yes that’s our holy grail of success and that’s how significant they are to
our existence. And the success or failure of these brands lie on ONE and only ONE person – Brand
Managers, which is why we call them Brand CEOs because the role is much bigger, larger and vital than
being just a conventional manager with restricted responsibilities and restricted areas of influence.
Brand CEOs are the ones who define the DESTINY of our brands and hence our business
A huge opportunity as it entails launching a new mission at Rebel Foods – Health, the world’s fastest
growing food category! And this brand is India’s 1st celebrity owned restaurant at scale – Nude Bowls by
Malaika Arora. Now that it sounds big and exciting, be very sure about it as great things don’t come that
easy. Rather, it can get quite acidic just before the sweet fruit is harvested!
Since this brand is an EatSure Exclusive brand, you will be part of the EatSure team and will report to the
Brand Lead of EatSure.
You’re excited about this opportunity because
you will…
Complete Ownership of Nude Bowls by Malaika Arora – This kickstarts from identifying the
need in the market, to incubating it with Culinary Innovation Center, test marketing the product
market fit across few markets, iterating it to perfection (read it as churning a lot of data-points
ranging from product ratings, price sensitivity index, NPS scores, competition landscaping to
market surveys), getting involved in ensuring the product is made in just the perfect way across
350 kitchens by working at a design level (just imagine the degrees of freedom involved in doing
something as simple as squeezing sauce out of a bottle across 350 kitchens by a workforce of
over 3000)and finally scaling it up PAN India. No points for guessing as to who spearheads all of
Plan Go-To-Market Strategy – Conceptualize and execute the launch and of the brand across
markets from a marketing point of view. Here you will work very closely with cross functional
teams such as Growth, Digital marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Design and
Communications, PR etc.
Make Nude Bowls by Malaika Arora a significant pie in the overall business on EatSure
Exclusives – This should be contributing to the largest % for new customer acquisition
Make Data Driven Decisions – Once the brand is launched is where the journey begins. You
would be expected to be day in and out on top of business numbers {well to be precise its 365
times a month (3 key metrics tracked 4 times a day) incl. weekends and festive days which are
our peak. Search for insights into consumer needs, do surveys, make customer calls, go through
customer feedback to better understand business performance, and identify new opportunities
to drive value.
Deliver brand P&L – The final goal being to attain market leadership, deliver brand’s P&L day on
day, month on month and The Most Important, create an immortal brand that aspires and
inspires generations to come
Work closely with Malaika Arora – A rare opportunity to work closely with an influential
celebrity and work on the content strategy and development for this brand with Malaika herself.
