Full Job Description :-
We are seeking a candidate with an interior design degree along with working knowledge of construction that is able to manage and coordinate a team of Independent Contractors and vendors. We need a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Designer/Project Manager to assist in planning remodeling and new home construction projects and to oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements:
Must be comfortable using Scheduling Software – BuilderTrend experience a plus
Must have experience in Project Management
Experience in Residential Home Remodeling and Additions a plus
Working knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Competent in conflict management
Excellent organizational, communication, time and project management skills
A team player with leadership skills
Interior Design Degree
Responsibilities:
Review the project in-depth to plan for material deliveries, templating and estimate costs
Coordinate with and direct vendors and subcontractors
Meet contractual conditions of performance
Review work progress on a daily basis
Prepare internal reports pertaining to job status for weekly meeting
Plan ahead to prevent issues and resolve any emerging ones
Create change orders for job changes based on homeowner request and contract allowances
Communicate with homeowners regarding job status
