The Content and Social Marketing Specialist should be able to work closely with the rest of the marketing team on cross channel promotions. The individual should be an expert in maintaining pages on social media, identifying new trends, creating a social plan and executing on it, and creating meaningful professional connections online.
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
· Writing blog posts
· Develop, implement and managing social media sites (Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn etc.), their strategies, rules and policies regarding business pages.
· Define most important social media KPIs
· Manage and oversee social media content
· Measure the success of every social media campaign
· Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
· Use social media marketing tools
· Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
· Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
· Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
· Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
· Provide constructive feedback
Minimum Qualifications:
· Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
Minimum Knowledge and Experience
· Minimum 1 years of work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
· Candidates with military background or military spouse are preferred for this role
· Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions
· Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
· Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
· Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
· Good understanding of social media KPIs
· Familiarity with web design and publishing
· Excellent multitasking skills
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Team player
· Good time-management skills
· Great interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent English writing skills including use of grammar, vocabulary and punctuations
· Research skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
Work Location: Remote
