We’re looking for a Content and Engagement Director to define and deliver the key stories, messages and moments that will help elevate our athlete science research. This work requires an inspiring and innovative storyteller with deep curiosity and expertise in writing and engaging a variety of audiences across multiple mediums. In addition to proven content development experience, we’re also looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, partnering with and counseling our researchers and leaders on new ways to share our strategy and translate scientific data into simple, tangible business value. What you will work on
Developing content and stories that engage our employees, stakeholders and athletes
Managing editorial calendars and curating story ideas through research and reporting
Ensuring key messages and storytelling assets are properly defined and consistently applied
Leveraging data and metrics to analyze content effectiveness
Coordinating content timelines, deliverables and processes
Supporting executive and leadership updates
Supporting internal and external engagements and events
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, business, or related field, or a combination of education, experience, and training
10+ years of professional communications and business writing/editing experience
Direct experience developing content strategies and plans and executing against them
Natural ability to quickly build and cultivate key relationships across all levels
Deep understanding of the evolving digital landscape
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail
Driven with an ability to make progress in the face of ambiguity
High level of integrity and adherence to protecting confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Keynote, and content management systems
Previous experience working with scientists or researchers is a plus
