About the Team

Whatfix Field and Growth Marketing team develop strategies to execute field and online events, including virtual summits, webinars, third-party trade shows, podcasts, interviews, executive roundtables, and Whatfix hosted customer/partner events.

We have done over 200 events globally (virtual and physical) over the last two years, and are an aggressive, enthusiastic bunch of marketers, who believe truly in ownership, and have experience dabbling in various aspects of marketing.

Our goal is to increase our brand footprint globally, drive demand generation, and enable sales and marketing teams to meet or exceed their revenue targets by various activities done across the sales funnel.

About the Role

As a Content Marketer at Whatfix, you are expected to support marketing in Lead generation and demand generation initiatives across multiple channels and touchpoints at every stage of the marketing funnel including email, landing page content, events, organic search/SEO content, paid search content and more.

You will be working with your counterparts in various marketing activities and is expected to be their pillar when it comes to content creation.

If you are a motivated, self-starter who is creative, pragmatic and passionate about writing and marketing and believes in ownership of their work, then you will fit amazingly well with the team.

Role Responsibilities:

Content Marketing Strategy:

Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and content that accelerates conversions and speeds up marketing and sales cycles.
Be the voice of the company to the target market out there. Own the content strategy, creation and marketing for Whatfix’s entity DigitalAdoption.com
Work closely with the Events team to define brand positioning basis the category of the type of Event.
Work closely with the Sales Development team to collaborate on emails delivering a high MQL to Opportunity conversion rate.
Conducting market research on content and consumer trends to make sure that content is relevant and desirable for the users

Content Development and Research:

Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, with a consistent focus on brand positioning, tone and style.
Design and build compelling landing pages with clear Call-to-Actions (CTA) drive form fill rates and lead generation.
Work on creating presentations with compelling value propositions to be used in webinars and speaking sessions at tradeshows.
Understand the journey of leads as they become MQLs, opportunities, and customers. You will be extremely data-driven and will know how all of our different audiences are converting throughout the funnel.

Must-have:

1-3 years of hands-on experience with enterprise software content marketing, product marketing, email marketing, and/or general marketing.
Ability to distil complex information into simple and meaningful insights and messaging.
Desire to learn and strong commitment.
Demonstrated bias for action and driving results: you don’t need babysitting.
Exceptional copywriting skills with a data-driven mindset.

Good-to-have:

Understanding of the B2B SaaS market and marketing/sales funnels.
Operates effectively in a changing environment, is adaptable and keeps a can-do attitude.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple workstreams to deliver on time.
Strong interpersonal and team skills.
Preferably some level of exposure to the B2B SaaS environment.
