Position Overview:

The marketing team at Sparks is responsible for promoting and protecting our company brand and culture. By creating compelling content, we aim to raise the agency’s profile in the B2B marketplace, attract the interest of new and existing clients and employees, and further their engagement with a variety of digital properties. Working closely with all members of the Marketing department, the Content Specialist will create content that inspires a sense of pride in, and a deeper connection to, our agency’s work, culture and people. You will collaborate with leaders across the company and utilize best practices in digital communications to create engaging and accessible content for publication in a variety of formats


Create, copy edit, and/or proof for accuracy blog and news articles, case studies, corporate social media content, email marketing campaigns, website landing page copy, and more.
Manage our blog strategy, including developing the content, collaborating with internal experts, and ensuring approvals and sign-offs
Develop the content for both short-form and long-form website case studies, collaborating with Account teams for accuracy and securing approval to publish and/or post on social media from Account leads
Develop strategies across social and digital properties to showcase Sparkies living our culture
Launch a profile series that details how various Sparksies have built a career here and illustrates how each person plays a critical role in our long-term success
Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Manager on SEO while developing any and all content to ensure optimization
Work with the Marketing Creative Director to coordinate on images/videos for use in content publishings
Consistently develop a clear understanding of the changing needs of our general audiences and innovate the way we tell stories to meet their preferences
Compile metrics to convey content performance and regularly present to the CMO
Other duties as assigned


Bachelor’s degree or similar equivalent experience

Minimum of 3 years experience

Preferred Skills:

Creating and distributing valuable, relevant business content, preferably within an agency or publication environment, designed to attract and retain clients and employees
Developing and executing a consistent cadence of content spanning blogs, case studies, news stories, editorial features, and other internal/external communications
Demonstrating strong storytelling and writing skills across a variety of content mediums
Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
