Our Detroit office is looking for a Creative Director: Branded Content (title commensurate with experience) to help lead major accounts and partner with an award-winning CD/Art Director. This role is a huge opportunity to evolve a range of different, exciting brands in the branded content space.

The Creative Director will be a writer who can level the room with a perfectly crafted manifesto. Deliver ground-breaking ideas. Create branded content film that leaves audiences laughing or crying (or both). Write stories that instantly grab readers’ attention. And that’s just for starters. This writer will lead and do, as they are as responsible for crafting and selling great work while cultivating strong relationships.

Core Responsibilities:

Present with presence and be a leader in meetings and beyond
Ensure creative work is strategically sound
Be a leader/contributor to new business, when necessary
Partner with strategy to find new ways of inspiring great work
Provide creative leadership across all points of the client business and communications within the content team.
Be a trusted day-to-day partner to clients
Make the work better by amplifying big creative ideas across content platforms
Use your expert writing skills to inspire the clients and steward the brand’s tone
Guide and foster stellar creative work from concept to execution, and inspire your team to push the boundaries of their approach
Partner with your clients so they will eagerly act on your recommendations. Build client confidence in you to foster a fundamental belief in your teams’ abilities.

Requirements & Qualifications:

7+ years experience copywriting, creative directing and leading in and around advertising agencies
Deep expertise in writing, creative direction and strategy
Experience managing and mentoring teams
