Valukoda is helping one of our clients, a leader in healthcare technology, recruit a Creative Director. This position can be remote, hybrid, or in person depending on the candidate’s preference.
The Creative Director will lead the creative strategy and execution to support the client’s brand and drive their corporate goals. The Creative Director will lead the creative team and will be responsible for activating the brand throughout all our creative projects including marketing materials, product re-branding projects, new vertical launch campaigns, internal and external events, interior design initiatives, data-driven design initiatives and more. The Creative Director is an experienced graphic designer, strategic thinker, has both a data-driven and creative mind and is a strong leader, presenter, and project manager.

Work with marketing, public relations, sales, and client success teams to produce fresh new & effective ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications
Collaborate with stakeholders cross-departmentally, including the marketing teams to achieve a cohesive brand look and feel, and to ensure maximum revenue impact
Responsible for the strategy, ideation, and conception of graphic elements for our clients’ print and digital marketing needs
Lead the project management of all creative design initiatives cross-functionally (internal creative team, outside agencies & vendors, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders)
Responsible for designing brand identity for new products including developing a brand system & brand guidelines for each
Manage the creative process from concept to completion
Translate marketing and company objectives into clear creative strategies
Provide clear art/design direction and mentorship to designers
Spearhead thought leadership in brand stewardship, cutting-edge tactics, and best practices
Develop great working relationships with team members including our video production team, sales team, marketing & content production teams, and more to drive great creative work
You will act as our primary brand guardian by owning and protecting our brand identity system across all touchpoints leading the work to sharpen our brand guidelines and creating processes to ensure brand consistency.
Ideate and craft compelling creative presentation decks for multiple client verticals, e.g. employers, health plans, brokers, Medicare Advantage, etc.
Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
Lead our team of creative talent including motivating, managing, recruiting, and training both internal and external team members
Play active role on the Marketing leadership team driving the team to successful outcomes and pushing the company to have a positive impact on the health of our participants
Manages the brand look and feel for interior design, tradeshow/ experiential design, external events, and internal events to ensure cohesiveness in every facet
Facilitates presentations for executive team and Board of Directors


Possessing unique talent of being able to take an idea and turn it into a visual representation to convey a concept more clearly
Ability to work collaboratively, taking & utilizing feedback from other stakeholders while also thoughtfully & professional pushing back and providing reasoning behind art design decisions
Demonstrated expertise in web, print & digital design as well as understanding and/or appreciation of UX/UI design practices.
Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite
Proven ability to manage creative projects through all stages of development
Ability to manage budgets
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the wellness industry and employee healthcare to ensure all creative deliverables truly accomplish their goals
Maintains a portfolio of great design and always wanting to tweak and improve previous materials
Proven ability to influence creative decisions
Self-motivated and can collaborate with internal/external resources at all levels to obtain buy-in to move projects forward
Being flexible, open-minded, and willing to chip in where needed in order to thrive on our small, multi-faceted team


Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications or Bachelor of Fine Art’s Degree with a concentration in Graphic Design or Visual Communications preferred
5 to 10 years of combined management, project management and/or graphic design experience
3+ years’ experience in the health and benefits industry preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
