The Support Content Writer is laser-focused on delivering a delightful and efficient customer and candidate experience. In this role, you’ll build internal efficiencies across the support organizations through the development of knowledge base articles, workflow guides, and email templates. Success will be measured by content effectiveness, audience influence, and consumption. The role requires a high degree of cross-functional interaction and demands excellent communication skills. An ideal candidate is a person who is proactive, driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain workflow guides, internal knowledge base articles, and email macros
Manage article feedback loops which allow the support staff to contribute and optimize knowledge assets
Identify, prioritize, and strategize the development of content that will provide maximum value for internal teams supporting Checkr customers and candidates
Gain expertise in Checkr’s product offerings, dashboard functionality, and compliance considerations as it relates to the customer/candidate’s interaction with the Checkr product
Stay informed of product changes to ensure content is kept up-to-date and accurate
Maintain backlog, and report on what content needs to be updated, created, augmented, etc
Assist in restructuring migrating the knowledge base to a new application, to include the migration of content, oversight of user permissions, and restructuring existing content into preferred format
Understand the interconnectedness of internal knowledge articles, email macros, and help center articles to ensure a consistent message is communicated across channels
Measure the effectiveness of content produced and optimize that content through search tuning, organization, and delivery method
What you bring:
3+ years of practical experience with content and/or support enablement delivery systems, content aggregation, and other content information delivery methods.
Deep understanding of the principles of knowledge management, preferably KCS certified.
Demonstrable writing skills and a proven track record of creating clear, engaging content for varied audiences. Preferably within support organizations.
You have experience with, and have ideally implemented recommendation engines and/or performed a migration from one knowledge management system to another
Ability to juggle multiple projects with concurrent timelines and easily adapt to changing priorities and timelines
Passionate about working within a team environment, collaborating cross-functionally, and embracing change
Analytical skills to tease out meaningful trends in content engagement and operational data
A desire to delight customers and extend Checkr’s mission by building the content management program from the ground up
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within Colorado is $79,900 – $108,100.
