Position Overview & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator (CA) with insane problem-solving skills to guide the internal construction administration process and serve as a liaison between our design team, consultants, contractors, and client representatives. This Dwellian will be responsible for the following tasks:

Administrating the construction process: reviewing construction drawings, logging and reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to RFI’s, preparing drawing revisions, and coordinating with Engineering Consultants.
Reviewing construction budgets and process applications for payment
Observing and documenting construction work in progress to ensure performance with specifications and contract documents
Conduct QC Reviews with coordinated sets of working drawings
Takes a team-oriented approach to the Construction Process.
Mentor younger staff and lead group site visits
Light travel: has reliable local transportation to construction sites and able to fly in the US.

Knowledge and Skills:

Ten or more years of experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited program
Experience in all project phases
Experience in multifamily, mixed-use or student housing construction
Have a positive attitude
Excellent time management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsive: Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
