Full Job Description :-
K&G Sports is looking to hire a Digital Media Producer for the All Pro Tour. This is a great opportunity for those leaving school and looking to get into the sports broadcasting or producing industry.
K&G Sports operates two professional golf tours. The APT is the nation’s leading men’s professional Tour for players working their way to the PGA, while the WAPT (Women’s All-Pro Tour) is a women’s professional tour for players working their way to the LPGA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage social media accounts for the Tour including (but not limited to): Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
Maintain and promote partner brands and initiatives.
Design imagery (including videography and photography) to maximize social media posts
Maintain and update the Tour website www.apt.golf (WordPress)
Stay up to date with social trends, behaviors, and content usage
Operate Nikon Cameras
Requirements:
Holding a Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or related field degree
Comfortable interviewing players on camera
Photography skills – Photos on mobile devices with an adaptive lens are fine
Strong ability to write and edit copy
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to travel 20-22 weeks for our professional golf tournaments
Ability to design content plans and execute
Work from home during off weeks in the Tour schedule
Preferred Skills:
Previous social media experience
Knowledge of golf (played or worked in the field)
Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Premiere, AVID, Final Cut Pro
Graphic design experience
Knowledge of WordPress web design
Data Analytics of Word Press, Twitter and Instagram
Knowledge of golf and the world of professional golf
Willingness to move to Dallas, the Texas area or live within a few hours
Ability to fly a drone
Start date: Immediate
Compensation: Starting Salary of $27,500 – $30,000 per year based on experience, SIMPLE Retirement Program, and Healthcare Options Available
