Overview: Training Leader (Director) will be expected to design and execute on-boarding and on-going training programs to educate and develop team members and 1099 contractors in multiple functional areas, including residential installation, B2C sales, call center and more for our senior bathing (walk-in tubs) and bath/shower remodeling business segments. Works collaboratively with the organization’s leaders and directs the timely and effective delivery of all training and development programs for the organization.In addition to developing curricula and targeted content, the position will oversee and manage our training efforts by managing a learning management system, ensuring internal participation in trainings, providing reports/metrics as required, and supporting business operations through the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.The position will be responsible for choosing our learning management system, as well as the design and use of our dedicated training facility. This is a hands-on role which requires both the development of curriculum and effectively teaching it.
Responsibilities:

Create a training and development strategy, vision and action plan to implement dynamic learning programs contributing to the success of the organization.
Develop the infrastructure for all training and development programs by establishing standardized methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation, measurement, and reporting.
Plan, direct, and coordinate learning objectives and instructional strategies; including developing the best methodologies for training delivery (i.e. web-based, classroom, etc.).
Develops training programs and review current development programs to ensure adherence to company goals.
Partners with Sr. Leadership to define changing training needs and monitor quality and alignment of programs to improve participant performance outcomes. Ensures that both long-term planning and short-term delivery are accomplished.
Develops methods and tools to measure development and training initiative impact and effectiveness across the organization, including performance and retention.
Utilize assessment tools to determine effectiveness of training programs allowing for participants to demonstrate knowledge to earn certificates of completion.
Creates, monitors, and manages department budget to support company financial objectives.
Consistently lead and/or participate in projects and initiatives related to learning and development.
Experienced with conventional and digital training methods.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in Learning and Development.
Experience managing L&D-related projects, designing training curriculum and running world-class training programs.
Skilled in all aspects of an L&D function, including needs assessment, designing, and delivering training, and evaluating its effectiveness.
Experience within home improvement/remodeling B2C models preferred, but not required.
Background in leading a training organization with many direct reports including field trainers and content producers.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including strength in using Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, negotiating, influencing, communication, and organization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence others while developing positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
Technical experience with learning management systems required.
Company is headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth, preference for position based in DFW, but this role could be based in the South Central region for travel to DFW and other market areas.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
