Full Job Description :-
Gordon Companies Inc. is seeking a full-time eCommerce Content Specialist to create product content and increase traffic to our websites. We have several large ecommerce sites that will need ongoing support through content writing, SEO execution, and updates in our Content Management System.
Candidate should be willing to absorb new information, follow directions precisely, and write well. Candidate should be comfortable working autonomously and be self-motivated.
This is a new position that will feature on-the-job training and working with our digital marketing agency.
Responsibilities include:
Manage product content on Christmas.com, ChristmasCentral.com, and PoolCentral.com.
Develop & implement copy following search engine specifications, guidelines and best practices
Perform background research as necessary
Load copy, imagery & data into websites
Work independently and within a team to reach individual and company goals
Analyze data from web analytics platforms
Qualifications:
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Open to learning new skills for search engine optimization
Ability to think creatively
Superior written communication skills and proofreading skills
Excellent verbal communication
Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
0-3+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience with search engine optimization a plus
