Job Title: Overnight Field Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hr. (Salary Position)
Shifts and Hours: Must be able to work weekends
Duties: The weekend field supervisors are responsible for working with corporate managers in the branch to assist scheduling manager with covering shifts and roll call to ensure officers are on site need and perform weekend site inspections.

Job Duties:

Perform day / night weekend site visits to inspect and supervise Security Officers in the field.
Address escalation of “after hours” and “cold start” calls to ensure enough coverage at customer sites.
Work with Corporate Managers to coach, counsel, discipline, train and manage relationships with Security Officers.
Responsible for visiting assigned post locations on a regular basis to conduct post inspections to ensure professional image (including the hygiene and uniform appropriateness of officers) and quality standards are being maintained.
Respond to call-offs that occur during the Field Supervisor shift.
Identify any personnel problems occurring and forward any such issues to corporate managers and/or Human Resource Coordinator. Field Supervisors may also be responsible for writing a report of the situation or assisting with an investigation, as directed by Area Manager or Human Resource Coordinator.
May be responsible for administering counseling or disciplinary actions that have been initiated by Corporate Manager, Human Resource Coordinator or a policy infraction observed by the Field Supervisor.
Distribute information to posts as directed by Branch or Corporate office and/or obtaining signed acknowledgements or other documents and returning such documents to Branch office;
Respond to client or site emergencies as they arise, including ensuring appropriate communication to Corporate Managers.
In the event of an abandoned or open post, Field Supervisor is responsible for identifying available qualified personnel to fill the post as quickly as possible. Field Supervisor may be required to “stand post” on an as-needed basis for an undefined period.
Field Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of all posts.


Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education desirable.
Must hold an active security license and possess relevant experience in the contract security industry.
Law enforcement and/or military a plus.
Experience in scheduling, operations or other functions of security industry a plus.
Current state issued driver’s license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years) car allowance/fuel reimbursement provided.
Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
This position requires excellent attendance and punctuality. Must be able to work in a very independent environment and ensure all directions and instructions from the branch office are followed consistently and thoroughly.
Ability to generate effective and concise reports with neat, legible handwriting and/or electronic Standard Activity Report is required using your smartphone.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization and with clients while functioning as a team player required.
Willing to obtain Level III security license and required equipment.


2-3 year of customer service or security experience preferred
At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
Pass an extensive screening process
