Your field of responsibility
This position is a hands-on software engineering lead role for Platform IT team based in Pune, India. The team develops back-office Case Manager applications providing support to Compliance & Risk Management activities (including KYC date periodic reviews). This position requires to be an integral part of a development team, working closely with Change-Management to deliver high quality software fulfilling the regulatory commitments of the bank. You are expected to endorse a player coach role, leading the technical discussions, designing solutions and driving the rest of the team to deliver following the plans. This position requires a hands-on developer with front end system development expertise.

Your skills and experience
The candidate who is chosen for this role/project should expect to be technically & functionally highly able to adjust with high demand of requirements. The project expects the person to be able to discuss requirements, work with architects to write Front End solution design and provide guidance to other team members. The candidate should demonstrate proactivity and provide technical leadership by example. The project works with agile delivery model and is using scrum methodology. Any JIRA items allocated to the team will be expected to be delivered front to back including unit testing and User Acceptance sign off. The candidate will be expected to provide support for production issues and challenges that may be encountered for their work and any other issue related to the same.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related topics; alternatively an equivalent education in one of these areas
Proven track of minimum up to 10 years of developing web applications and responsive interfaces for mobile/desktop browsers
Proven expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (ES6 or more recent)
Proven expertise with ReactJS & TypeScript development
Proven experience in API contract definition
Tech lead experience
Expertise in CSS development with/without pre-processors
Expertise in testing at the unit level (mocha, jest)
Expertise in building reusable component libraries
Expertise in collaborating with UX engineers
Results oriented with an ability to learn and passionate about technology, client and team oriented
Self-motivated and self-dependent personality
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Expertise with Node.JS / Webpack
Expertise in integration testing using Selenium or other frameworks
Familiarity with progressive web applications, service workers, long term caching
Familiarity in Continuous Development/Continuous Integration
Familiarity with Java/J2EE
Desire to work in an agile, iterative development methodology
Good knowledge in UML design and design patterns
Understanding of regulatory environments and finance is a plus
