Graphic Design responsibilities

Maintain marketing material design and management ensuring corporate standards and designing new material as needed) for KBE and KBE-NY
Create new and maintain existing design templates/standards for brochures, data sheets, stationary, logos, resumes, and proposal templates
Designs all advertising (web/print) designs
Designs graphics as needed for proposals, presentations, external and internal communications
Designs quarterly newsletter, Annual Report, NewsFlashes, Annual Meeting presentation, Direct Mail/Email based on content provided by Director of Marketing or other leadership
Design and produce Trade Show exhibits and materials
Job site/Trailer branding and set up; manages job site graphic materials are up to date and accessible

Proposals and Qualifications
Supports the Proposal Manager, as assigned with:

Creating support materials for formal proposal response (covers, tabs), creating custom project profiles and staff resumes, creating custom graphics, etc.
We are willing to train the right candidate in learning more about the full preparation of writing and producing winning proposals for new business

Printer Support

Manages relationship with Konica Minolta representative for printer maintenance and needs

Project Photography and Staff Photography

Assists with coordination of project and staff photography
Take photos of events and staff for social media, internal/external communication, and other marketing purposes

Trade Show/Conferences graphics

Design and produce trade show exhibits, banners, displays, and handouts, as assigned
Proactively maintain inventory of trade show exhibits banners, etc.

Events Support
Supports events planned by other Companies staff. Includes Annual Meetings, Annual Charity Golf Tournament and additional charitable events, Holiday Parties, Subcontractor Meet and Greets and additional special events. This support includes graphic design to help promote the event, but also hands-on participation in setting up events and providing day-of support

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
Minimum 3-5 years graphic design experience, preferably with a commercial construction firm, architectural/engineering firm, or with large corporate clients providing extensive communications/marketing materials
Exceptional creative and graphic design skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud required (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator – other experience a plus)
Knowledge of print production
Photography and photo/video editing skill
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Word
Familiarity with CRM software experience (for data research, reporting, and data entry)
Proficient in WordPress or similar and social media sites required
Familiarity with HTML coding a plus
Understanding of business marketing and communication principles is essential
Understanding of A/E/C Industry terminology and procedures is a plus
Strong writing skills a plus
Ability to develop visual concepts and solutions that help promote the company brand, share strong powerful messages with our clients, and further our image as a creative and innovative construction partner to our client
Attention to detail, proofreading and editing and ensuring that work is error-free
