In order to help deliver on that mission, we’re looking for a well practiced content marketer to come in and help us connect Toasters like they never have before through memorable design, creative writing and providing them with the tools they need to be successful in our new Intranet (creatively named The Pantry!).

Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience, you will be our in-house employee facing “Editor In Chief” leading up a creative, savvy, and energetic team of designers and storytellers. In this role you will help bring our company narrative to life across our employee blog, The Pantry, employer brand sites, our internal publication – The Slice, and other channels to continue to provide Toasters with an opportunity to connect and grow with one another. We’re seeking someone who loves a challenge, is solutions oriented and knows how to bring people together.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)

Possess strong written and multimedia communication skills, and an excitement to to bring our values & culture to life through a dynamic internal / external content calendar, driving content for employee blogs, newsletters, e-books, physical and digital publications
Act as “Editor in Chief” for our internal intranet – The Pantry – as well as our monthly internal magazine, The Slice – driving content that will connect, inspire and educate Toasters and enable them to do the best work of their career.
An impeccable writer with a passion for copy editing, story telling, and delivering clear, concise, and consistent content across multiple channels.
A collaborator at heart, who is driven by creating cross-functional partnerships throughout the organization to deliver impactful content that meets the needs of our Toasters.
Someone with an eye for design, and passionate about delivering memorable design experiences through their work.
Experience running brand campaigns for a growing brand, with the desire to take that knowledge and bring it to life through the lens of our employees.
Possess strong project management skills; ability to manage initiatives from ideation through to execution
Partner with Employer Brand, PR, & Marketing to align our internal messaging with Toast’s external communication strategy, brand standards and tone, promoting our culture, community and the impact that Toasters are having on our industry.
Develop, coach, and mentor a rockstar team of high-performing Toasters. Seek to lift them up in everything you do.

Do you have the right ingredients? (requirements)

Previous experience managing and growing a team.
7+ years marketing and/or content experience
Passion for telling stories of innovation, success and community
Excellent written and verbal communication, a storyteller at heart
Proven ability to create, manage and scale a content marketing program
Strong teamwork & cross-functional collaboration skills
Solutions oriented mindset, with the ability to pivot when needed
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance multiple stakeholders with varying needs
Organized and detail oriented, with a strong desire to express their creativity
Content Marketing & Design background preferred.
