What you will be doing?

We look forward to working with a diverse group of people from backgrounds such as real money gaming, Fantasy sports / betting, Card gaming apps, movies & media, advertising studios, finance and FMG apps & self taught individuals deeply passionate about design, gaming or sports.

As a copywriter you will be working closely with your product & marketing counterparts in identifying & the right stories and tone of communication for both user and business needs. Whether it’s a CTA that’s as usable as it is funny, an easy-to-read form that also informs or a banner you would want to frame – we want people who can take our players on a journey that educates while it persuades. We’re looking for someone comfortable working in a variety of storytelling techniques, from taking users on a trip or communicating the best parts of the product to them in a clear and concise way. You will also provide leadership in user centred approach to data design, information transfer and storytelling – using creative writing techniques and experience creation tools.

Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends
Mentor junior writers and help out other team members, sharing learnings and expertise on a regular basis.
Balance between thinking tools on one side structuring requirements, while also using creative writing tools to create memorable stories and UI experiences.
Improve iteratively on current state of the app – find out new ways of improving the product and the project processes in order to enforce the concept of kaizen
Attention to detail in grammar, articulation, and the craft of presentation.
Possess a basic understanding of new trends driving user expectations and behaviours.

What do we expect?

Requirements

Ability to collaborate effectively with a team & across teams – to communicate and execute content ideas successfully.
Proven experience as a copywriter or related role – at least 4-6 years
Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Strong content research & assimilation skills
Should show attention to detail & flexibility – along with the necessary organisational skills to run multiple projects at once.
Self directed, with the ability to train, mentor and inspire juniors. Also the ability to handle multiple teams and product tracks at once
Ability to tell creative & engaging stories that delight both business and user stakeholders, while maintaining the tenets of a data driven approach.
Must have a portfolio showing creativity & original style + prior content work
Excellent grasp of English language and ability to paraphrase

Software Knowledge

Word editors – Notion, Word
Some basic design software awareness would be good
Similar Excel Awareness
Social media or content marketing experience a plus
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
