Full Job Description :-
Moniker Design is looking to grow our team with the addition of a Lead Designer. The Lead Designer interfaces directly with clients to develop and create extraordinary spaces that are beautiful, functional, and safe. As a part of Moniker’s values, the Lead Designer places an emphasis on understanding and designing to the client’s vision and requirements.

Strong ability to lead, manage and be accountable for all required tasks within the design process
Complete understanding of contract documents, and client needs
Proficient in design principals and building code compliance, including research as necessary
Maintaining project budgets and schedules. Facilitate Value Engineering as necessary
Supervise design projects including all task delegation necessary to complete work
Independently take projects from concept to execution
Produce plans, construction drawings, shop drawings, and renderings
Provide and incorporate solutions to design road blocks
Coordinate with vendors, sub-contractors, and consultants
Support and lead client meetings & presentations
Support project set-up/kick-off
Create project presentations
Specify and coordinate FFE purchase & procurement
Pursue and secure industry relationships for business development
Organize, send, and respond to RFI’s and submittals
Design Production as needed (CAD, SKP, PSD, IND)
Take a partnership approach to projects, and provide a high level of customer service


Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design or related field preferred.
Courses in interior design, drawing, and computer-aided design (CAD) required.
Knowledge of building code compliance.
Strong portfolio that showcases design skills, conceptual skills and creativity.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Podium (or similar rendering programs), Adobe
Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Excel.
Proven ability to communicate well with clients as well as project team (GC, A/E, subcontractors).
Must work effectively in a team setting.
Strong problem solving skills.
Proven ability to readily adapt to changes.
Extremely detail oriented and organized.
