POSITION: MARKETING CONTENT SPECIALIST
JOB TYPE: FULL TIME
LOCATION: HOME BASED (SOME TRAVEL)

Spirit Fitness is a leading fitness equipment manufacturer with a headquarter office in Jonesboro, AR, and manufacturing facilities in both Taiwan and China. We develop, manufacture, market, and sell fitness equipment for home, medical, and commercial settings under multiple brands through our direct websites and national dealer network. We built our first fitness product in 1983 with the simple goal of giving our customers the highest quality equipment to help them achieve their fitness goals
The Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for content creation under the direction and supervision of the Digital Marketing Manager. Responsibilities will include development of content for our brands, websites, social media, inbound and outbound marketing projects to ensure all content is consistent, innovative and relevant to the target audiences. The candidate must be passionate about writing and possess a strong understanding of content marketing in the digital space. Familiarity with social media, SEO, blog-writing and website content is a must. Interest or experience in writing about fitness is a plus.
Manage and maintain social media content, images and strategy
Write an average of two blog posts per week.
Update web content and product content as needed.
Write fresh content for collateral and promotional pieces across all media: print, digital, websites, landing pages, email, etc.
Collaborate with marketing team to develop compelling promotional content and meaningful messaging based on target audience needs and product positioning.
Ensure content reflects the brand in voice, design, messaging and quality, and maintains consistency of style and tone. Apply best practices in writing copy for emails, landing pages, ads, social media, blogs, webinars etc.
Leverage, refresh and maximize use ofexisting content, and identify/evaluate new content and industry trends that will meet business goals and target audience needs.
Monitor for hot topics, resources and blogs that target audience reads, and incorporate such content to meet goals and customer needs.
Position Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field.
1+ years of experience in content marketing (strong writing samples with BA Degree will be considered in lieu of experience).
Demonstrated success in persuasive written communications, including multiple writing samples to back up experience.
Excellent proofreading, writing, storytelling, and editing skills.
Organized with a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail in your work.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.
Familiarity with website CMS tools, Google Analytics and Blog Creation.
Familiarity with graphics programs, video or photo editing a plus.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects within a deadline driven environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
