We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee production employees to ensure safety, efficiency and quality in production operations. The role works closely as a strategic partner with the CEO, to develop and carry out the operational plans.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Oversees the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
Reviews production data collected by supervisors, analyzes, and assesses to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.
Responsible for implementation of the Quality Control program.
Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
Accountable for a 2 week production plan for all production employees
Performs other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Hires production employees and is accountable for their training and performance.
Organizes, directs, and oversees the schedules and work of production supervisors.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for supervisors and ensures all production staff receive the same.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

Associates degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required; Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
15 years work experience, with at least five years of supervisory experience is highly preferred.

Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships with others
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies.
Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the facility.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
Wear PPE in accordance with policy.
