Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Analyst and Communications Specialist with a Public Trust clearance to support TGS and our government customer. This position is REMOTE. This position salary is $100K-$115K.

The Communications Specialist is an integral component of a team supporting a Federal client’s organizational and digital transformation. The Communications Specialist job is for someone with at least 3 years of experience in the field. Communications Specialists assist the Communications/Change Manager to create and implement communications programs, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products. Communications Specialists perform a variety of tasks including creating content for articles, webpages and etc. They aid in the preparation of company announcements geared toward employees and customers as well as general communication and escalation to leadership.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Produce infographics, charts, graphs, and other visual content to illustrate the message and support the client’s mission.
Assist the Content Coordinator to write, proofread, and publish content for technical documents, websites, etc.
Perform research to generate content and select new and engaging topics
Prepare and deliver client presentations from leadership for a cohesive message
Evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand format
Manage calendars, create reports, assist teammates
Draft emails and conversation scripts to disseminate information pertinent to the internal organization, a specific team or an individual employee
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive solutions
Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensure we produce a high-quality and error-free copy.
On-Time Delivery
Assist with defining and creating future visions and identify areas of opportunity, thus delivering value across people, processes, technology, and information
Experience with SharePoint Online Project Management.
Expertise with MS PowerPoint including template development
Deep understanding of communications via storytelling and ability to implement methods into PowerPoint presentations
Understanding of 508 and ADA compliance
Understanding of the eight principles of effective change.
Change Management Certified or expertise within a Change Management forward-leaning culture.
Work across multiple operational and technical disciplines enabling organizational growth, innovation, and effectiveness
Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation.
Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up to date with relevant developments.
Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team.
Communicate vision to internal leadership and stakeholders
Assist in the development and integration of communications strategy for regular organizational announcements
Help create communications plans to increase vision awareness and recognition for the organization
Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Management or similar concentration preferred, Relevant experience and certifications will be considered
Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
At least 3 years of experience in direct client communications
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
Experience writing technical documents (both collaboratively and independently); comfortable crafting documentation without templates and sometimes with minimal input from others
Deep understanding of layout, design and structuring of messaging
Experience with design concepts
Understanding of UI/UX and how it correlates to communication channel development
Experience with SharePoint is a plus
Experience with producing, editing, color correcting video preferred, but not required
Strong Team Member with understanding of organizational challenges
Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
Proficient in project management
Acquire and maintain a complete knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up to date with necessary developments.
Excellent time management skills, ensuring that schedules, milestones, and appropriate deliverables are set and completed on time
Must be flexible, and able and willing to change and compromise, frequently and without notice, throughout the day, during projects and within meetings
Be a confident communicator and presenter
Must communicate accurately, efficiently, and timely via all professional modes such as calls, email, presentations, and other collaboration technologies
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
Strong communication and leadership skills; able to communicate effectively with a diverse audience; comfortable working with C-level executives
Must possess critical thinking to analyze and assess complex scenarios and technologies
Solid experience with office management systems, MS Office, creating/editing PowerPoint slides
Familiarity with cloud systems
Previous Federal consulting experience preferred, but not required

Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
