As the acreage has grown, so has our expertise and attention to detail in farming and packing the highest quality product. Today, with over 3,000 employees, Sun Pacific is the largest grower/shipper of navel oranges in the world, and the largest grower/shipper of table grapes, mandarins, and kiwi in North America. Our team is growing and currently looking for a Production Analysis Manager.
JOB SUMMARY: The Production Analysis Manager is responsible for all areas relating to facility production reporting, facility costs reports, asset movement, payroll timekeeping, and accounts payable at the six packing locations. This position has an operational focus and must have the ability to communicate effectively with operational employees to identify and resolve problems and discrepancies. The Production Analysis Manager will supervise the staff administrative employees at the packinghouse offices to ensure that work is uniform, timely and accurate, while deploying IT solutions to create innovation, productivity, and compliance enhancements. Utilizing company’s ERP systems, Excel and BI tools; this position will address tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including calculating daily labor costs, accounting for number of goods made and reconciling shipment of goods. The Production Analysis Manager will have contact with/communicate information to plant management, financial managers, the company’s controller, packinghouse employees and third-party representatives requiring strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: The Production Analysis Manager reports directly to the Controller.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Obtaining and maintaining a thorough understanding of the financial and production reporting, general ledger structure and inventory processes;
Acquiring fluency, knowledge, and expertise in the Company’s ERP System (Spokane, Famous & Kronos);
Ensuring accurate and timely daily and monthly goods and cost reporting for Citrus & Kiwi commodities;
Reviewing and troubleshooting grower packout reports;
Assuring proper logging and tracking of fruit and equipment asset movement;
Troubleshooting Import tracking and repack reconciliation;
Troubleshooting software integration issues between Spokane & Famous;
Assisting the controller in reconciliation procedures;
Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable invoices;
Ensuring timekeeping is managed on a daily basis, verifying labor costs and ad hoc reporting, weekly and as needed/requested;
Monitoring and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
Responding to inquiries from the controller, finance manager, plant manager, sales department and other finance and company-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like;
Collecting and managing house cash sales and petty cash;
Supervising the office staff to ensure all reporting deadlines are met;
Assisting in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department including creation of manuals and procedure worksheets;
Training new and existing staff, as needed;
Handling personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.;
Supporting controller with special projects and workflow process improvements;
Representing Sun Pacific in an ethical, positive, and professional manner; and,
Performing all other duties, tasks, and projects, as assigned.


Must have the ability to interpret a variety of production issues, be a self-starter, and have a sense of urgency;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), databases and queries;
B.S. in accounting, business, finance, or related, or equivalent experience;
Excellent oral and written communication, reporting and presentation skills;
Detail oriented with ability to format, analyze, summarize, and report data clearly, concisely, and timely;
Ability to identify improvements in daily operational practice and communicate to upper management;
Respectful, constructive, energetic with a ‘get-it-done’ style, with the ability to seamlessly fit into a mature, established group, working cooperatively and collaboratively to maximize performance and results; and,
Possession of a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
