Project Manager
Reports To: The Project Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer of The Chesapeake Companies.
Job Overview: The Project Manager works with the team to effectively completion of each phase of the construction process for residential home projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Process purchase orders
AIA Billing & Billing several different clients
Utilizing multiple builder websites to capture data
Contract review
Submittals-creating, submitting, revising, & Verifying
Complete and verify lien waivers
Variance change orders- research, create, & follow up on
Work with field staff, subcontractors, and builders for successful completion of all phases of projects
Utilize multiple builder website to capture data


Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Minimum 5 years Construction Project Management experience (Required)
Knowledge of the process of construction (Required)
Knowledge of plumbing fixtures (required)
Ability to turnover high volume of projects (Required)
Strong organizational skills
Expert level written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office 365 & Office Suite (specifically MS Excel)
Ability to master new software programs quickly
Strong math & analytical skills
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

**this position is a very high pace position. If you do not have have experience with constriction project management (administrative, NOT field), please do not apply. This position will require the need for a very fast pace, managing 100+ volume housing projects at one time with a short life cycle.***
The right individual thrives in a very fast paced environment, works well under pressure, and delivers with a “no excuses, make it happen” attitude. You must possess strong judgement skills, manage challenging situations, handle administrative tasks, excel with technology, and possess solid written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate effectively balances multiple priorities and works well independently.
