MicroSystems Automation Group (MSAG) is seeking a talented Project Manager to work with one of our Civilian agency clients, located in Washington DC. The Project Manager will provide management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel.

Work with Agency client and Federal PM to prioritize work product deliveries.
Manage team workload, assignments, and deliverables.
Provide a weekly status report which includes the work performed by all team members.
Help clients articulate and define user requirements – knowledge of an automated requirements tool is desired.
Assist with or write system requirements to the level that the development team can implement (inputs, outputs, business rules/logic).
Manage projects according to the full Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC)
including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment and support and training.
Perform configuration management, testing, release management and deployment management.
Coordinate/create project plans, schedules, budget, risk management/logs, quality assurance audits, configuration management reports, system requirements and design documents, software estimation and performance metrics.
Assist with remediation of identified deficiencies.
Track, approve, and prepare exception report of staff work hours.
Verify and approve invoices for MSAG and sub-contractor.
Address concerns raised by team members.
Respond to requests from the DOL Contract Officer
Complete training as required by DOL and monitor team completion of training

___*Skills and Experience: _*

Project Management certification such as PMP or equivalent.
Agile experience desired.
PMO experience desired.
SharePoint Server experience desirable (user level).
Minimum of ten years’ experience in managing custom software development projects utilizing current web technologies, with at least 4 of those years for federal government clients.
Experience managing web development teams and database administrators, preferably utilizing Microsoft technologies.
Knowledge of/familiarity with NIST 800-53 security requirements.
Excellent writing skills.
Strong verbal communication, organization, and coordination skills.
Knowledge of configuration management tools (TFS, GIT, Visual Source Safe, etc.).
Knowledge and use of requirements tools (Jira) is desirable.
Experience managing Cloud implementations, preferably Amazon AWS.
Experience in managing development of 508 compliant applications.
Excellent customer management/internal consulting skills a must.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to write project management documents and produce project artifacts at CMMI level 3.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage and solve multiple, complex problems.
Operational experience with application performance tuning, database performance tuning and network performance a plus.
Prepare and/or support responses for data calls in various areas.
Work to limit turnover and provide transition planning when needed.
