Full Job Description :-
The successful candidate will manage and mentor a team of Field Sales Engineers responsible for achieving the monthly and annual sales budget of multiple operations for an established group of customers and or geographic territory.
The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking aSales Managerto work remotely out of a home office.
The key responsibilities of thisSales Manager include, but are not limited to:
Helping to establish territory / customer order budgets
Establishing and updating monthly booking forecasts
Working with the sales team to achieve monthly / annual, territory / customer forecasts, budgets and sales targets
Making routine customer visits in conjunction with Sales Engineers
Maintaining a working relationship with various Divisional Marketing, Customer Service, Operations and Engineering teams
Managing and maintaining a design pursuit pipeline including coordination of regular follow-up calls
Coordinating and leading biannual Time and Territory reviews
Maintaining current working knowledge of the company’s products and technologies
Compiling and publishing weekly progress reports (how goes it’s or HGI’s) for the sales team
The Location
Remote out of a home office
Candidates should live in NY, VT, NH, ME, MA, CT, NJ, or PA
The Person
The key skills and qualities of aSales Manager at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing or Sales
Minimum of five years Field Sales experience
Frequent domestic travel with the ability to travel to the International, North American Divisions or operations as necessary Canada and Mexico in particular
Strong written and oral communications skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to work in a self-directed role
Strong ability to represent the company professionally and respectfully to all customers
