The Regional Sales Manager will manage, direct, and drive the sales efforts in the assigned areas in support of the company’s strategic objectives for maximum concentrated market penetration. In addition, this individual will nurture existing and cultivate new business relationships to grow sales in the market.
The Regional Sales Manager will exhibit characteristics that support our Company’s core values: Honesty and integrity, compliance, safety, quality, execution, and profitability. To be successful, the RSM should be a visionary, have a service-oriented attitude, and be able to promote change and positive workplace culture to drive sales and achieve company goals.
This position is remote with some travel being required to support sales initiatives.
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Develop profitable new business relationships and grow sales in the existing accounts.
Facilitate meetings with current and potential customers that foster and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.
Plan, organize, and direct activities and services that enhance the customer experience and ensures customers are satisfied with the Company’s products and services.
Forecast sales for the territory utilizing CRM pipeline data.
Identify and develop new leads and customers by using information in newspapers, business directories, industry news, trade shows, Internet, and other networking outlets.
Attend customer events, tradeshows, industry gatherings, and meetings.
Maintain adequate product knowledge and stay up to date on Company’s product offerings and features.
Display and demonstrate the features of Envision’s products to existing and prospective customers.
Prepare price quotes and terms as needed to achieve sales; prepare sales contracts for customer orders.
Work as a member of the Envision sales and marketing team to provide feedback and information that can be used to enhance and better promote the Company’s selling tools and go-to-market strategy.
Keep customers up to date by providing current samples, literature, and product training.
Manage day-to-day performance and activities using Salesforce.com.
Effectively present and propose changes and programs to the leadership team that would help achieve the Company objectives.
Must always represent the Company in a professional manner and demonstrate the Company’s core values.
Must always work safely.
Other assignments that may or may not relate to the direct responsibilities of the position.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
Three (3) plus years of progressive experience in a related role, preferably in the building products industry.
Proven employer loyalty throughout career.
Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and grow sales and create and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
Must be a tactical thinker when navigating selling situations.
Must be a great communicator and be able to work with a diverse peer group and customer base; must be able to articulate ideas clearly and resolve conflicts with customers and peers quickly and professionally.
Must be competent in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must be promotable and capable of growing into a more advanced role to support overall company expansion and growth.
Must have an unrelenting commitment to CRM and thrive in networking and industry-event settings.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
