Content Marketing Manager/Content Writer

We are looking for a strong communicator and highly organised, creative and technical writer to join our marketing team, producing a variety of content for different audiences. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager for Europe, you will be someone who enjoys being a key member of a small European team and a wider global marketing team. You will assist in delivering European marketing initiatives and will be a PFS brand ambassador and advocate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing the content creation process for Europe
Writing long and short form content, including sales sheets, presentation decks, case studies, reports, video scripting, webpages, and more
Collaboratively work with Business Management to understand client challenges and gain industry-related insight to identify opportunities, produce new and update existing creative and technical content
Assisting with and contribute to PR activity and campaigns with our media communications agency
Working cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts and key stakeholders
Conducting industry and technology research and to be seen as a knowledge expert
Developing an understanding of PFS products and services, including benefits to prospects, and work with relevant stakeholders to understand PFS product positioning and value statements
Applying learnings from other areas of the business to the marketing approach
Identifying needs and gaps in our content, recommending new topics
Taking ownership of downloading and sharing research reports and interpreting relevant insights
Analyse content success metrics and identify areas to repurpose, evolve and enhance past, planned and existing activity
Taking ownership of membership and sponsorship relationships and activity
Building strong relationships with key internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and utilising their know-how across a variety of content forms, to enhance existing activity and drive brand awareness and opportunities
Ensuring consistency in style, tone of voice, editing, images and more
Driving key departmental processes, creating efficiencies where possible
Collaboratively working with Business Development and Sales, understanding the sales process, how content is used by the teams and ingested by prospective clients
Collaboratively working with designers and other marketing professionals to achieve objectives across content, events and miscellaneous projects
Occasional travel may be required

Requirements to apply:

You have a Bachelor’s degree – preferably English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications/PR, Creative Writing, Professional Writing, or similar
Your written and spoken English is excellent
You have 3+ years of copywriting experience in a related field
Your copywriting portfolio contains examples of both creative and technical writing
Your writing and communication skills are excellent, with high attention to detail
You are able to exercise independent thinking with a high level of prioritisation skills
You consistently generate new ideas, meet multiple deadlines and work independently
You have a good understanding of SEO, with the ability to effectively structure content to enhance SEO
You are keen to get under the skin of the industry and organisation
You are fully proficient in Microsoft Office
You have a clear understanding of the full marketing mix
You will be able to work as part of a team located in different office locations

Desired skills:

An understanding of the eCommerce environment
B2B marketing experience
SEM experience
Experience conducting research and interpreting data into digestible content
Proposals writing experience
Understanding of print/production process for occasional printed submissions
Multi-lingual, accompanied by the ability to write fluently or interpret content in other European languages, such as French or German
Experience using WordPress
