Overview
The Sr. Director of Enrollment provides the leadership, oversight, and management of all admissions and recruitment operations to support the continued growth of the new student population. The Sr. Director is responsible for the development and implementation of a high-quality, evidence-based recruitment and admission program to attract and enroll a diverse student body. The Sr. Director is responsible for coordinating all admissions and enrollment operations which includes planning, coordinating activities, and management of 65+ staff in admissions, student recruitment, and partnership outreach. The Sr. Director is responsible to meet annual enrollment goals, student registration metrics, and support strategic initiatives. This position is remote, however, will require occasional travel to attend events and other in-person meetings. This position reports to the Vice President of Strategic Engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Executes a comprehensive strategic plan for the enrollment of future students capable of success at the University, inclusive of staffing model, process improvement plan, business-to-business engagement, and virtual events and information sessions for prospective students.
Meets or exceeds monthly, trimester, and annual enrollment goals.
Coordinates the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of department processes for recruitment and enrollment, ensuring alignment with executive leadership.
Ensures that all policies are in compliance with federal, state, and/or accrediting agency standards.
Implements an audit system to ensure the department and other university personnel are properly executing admission and enrollment policy and processes.
Annually reviews and updates departmental policies and submits any changes to executive leadership for adoption.
Understands communication and demographic trends among prospective student markets and developed strategies to these recruitment challenges.
Assumes responsibility for the effective management of the enrollment and admissions functions and coordinates the department budget, staffing, technology, external vendors, contractors, and other support resources.
Manages operational functions including data processing, communications flow, day-to-day operational planning, outreach activities, office policies and procedures, and department technologies.
Develops and utilizes data to identify the return on investment for new recruitment strategies.
Serve as point person for resolving department, staff, and student questions, concerns, obstacles, and issues in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with university policies and procedures.
Collaborates with University constituents, and serves on various university committees and task forces, to support efforts to ensure University fiscal performance goals are met.
Responsible for collaborating with other departments to support resolution of student and process issues.
Serves as a liaison to relevant professional associations and state committees.
Manages a team of assigned employees and holds them accountable to achievement of individual and department-level goals.
Maintains appropriate staffing levels to achieve established goals.
Coordinates frequent public presentations at various recruitment settings including but not limited to webinars, information sessions, and college or career fairs.
Performs personnel administration functions such as selection, work assignments, training, evaluation, goal setting, performance management, establishing service levels/metrics, corrective action, coaching, and mentoring.
Coordinates individual and department staff training to maintain high levels of customer service, motivation, and institutional knowledge. among staff.
Serves on the University’s Leadership Team.
Other duties as assigned.

Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
10% or less.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms. Ability to spend long durations of the workday in front of a computer monitor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university required, Master’s Degree preferred.
8 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education or sales. 5+ years of direct leadership experience in higher education recruitment, funnel development, and admissions.
5+ years of experience managing large teams (20+) is preferred.

Salary: $115,000 – $130,000
