Walker Sands is looking for a seasoned B2B content marketing expert and team player to join our Editorial division in a senior role with significant client/internal responsibilities. Working closely with divisional directors, the Senior Editorial Writer will uphold rigorous quality standards for long-form client deliverables while also serving as a writing mentor to more junior staff and a meaningful contributor to the growth and development of the Editorial division and the Creative team more broadly.

While this job will not involve direct people management, your consistent ability to set an inspiring and supportive example to more junior colleagues will be critical to your long-term success in the role.


Lead creation of premium long-form content — including market research reports, white papers and ebooks — for a portfolio of B2B tech clients across 15 core practice areas.
Oversee content strategy and execution for 10-15 clients with recurring content needs.
Present creative outputs to clients in a polished and inspiring style.
Work across Creative divisions (Branding, Campaigns, Social, Web) to strategize new departmental processes and refine existing ones.
Identify and pursue strategic upsell opportunities for existing clients and offer secondary support as-needed on new business opportunities.
Provide consistent, valuable writing mentorship for more junior staff.
Translate client messaging into in-depth content deliverables, while demonstrating a mastery of voice, tone and industry-specific vocabulary.
Lead internal brainstorms for client campaigns and content marketing programs.


5+ years of B2B content experience, with agency experience strongly preferred
Deep experience producing long-form, premium content assets including data reports, white papers and ebooks
Significant client-facing experience including formal presentations of creative work
Exceptional writing, editing and organizational skills
Unrivaled knowledge of AP Style and editorial best practices
Willingness to accept and learn from feedback on your work
Positive attitude in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Desire to work in a collaborative, team-based organization
Experience with project management platforms, survey platforms and data analysis a plus
