Summer EL Elementary Teacher (2 positions) LICENSE REQUIREMENT: K-12 English as a Second Langugae License POSITION SUMMARY: Provides instruction and guidance for students of the SoWashCo Summer K-4 program. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide instruction through hands on science curriculum.
Conduct morning meetings with students.
Participate in meetings and planning days.
Other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, LICENSE, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES): Required:
Current Minnesota Teaching License in Elementary Education.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated creativity, flexibility and enthusiasm to support students through innovative instruction.
Ability to collaborate and problem solve across different stakeholders.
Prompt, regular and reliable attendance.
Communicates with students, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and the community in a positive and responsive way that is consistently welcoming and enhances effective work relationships.
Demonstrates an appreciation of diversity in all interactions and job functions.
