Sr. Warehouse Management Developer (Sr. Developer)
I. JOB SUMMARYThe Sr. Warehouse Management Developer leverages in-depth technical and functional knowledge to develop, implement and maintain warehouse and logistics-based business solutions. This role is a key voice in setting direction and providing guidance on how to best leverage warehousing solutions and related technologies to achieve business outcomes. This role participates as a member of a fast-paced Agile team and collaborates cross-functionally to achieve business outcomes.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Responsible for the development, configuration, and administration of WMS to achieve business outcomes.2. Work closely and collaborate with business partners to leverage WMS capabilities to address business opportunities in a timely and effective manner.3. Perform complex programming and product configurations requiring expert understanding of WMS and supporting technologies conforming to standards and best practices.4. Facilitate, acquire, and interpret business requirements, create functional specifications, and determine the most efficient and appropriate technologies.5. Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or customer requirements to design and build business solutions.6. Contribute to, review, and approve technical design of software solutions.7. Guide and collaborate with engineers and architects in continuous improvement initiatives.8. Ensure issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.9. Debug and troubleshoot solutions and production issues.10. Conduct research into new technologies, development practices and frameworks.11. Ensure quality and maintain performance of deployed solutions.12. Contribute, evolve, and support Agile Scrum software development processes.13. Assist with other projects as needed to contribute to the effectiveness of the organization.

IV. REQUIREMENTS1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.2. 5+ years developing and administrating warehouse management systems including solution selection and implementation.3. Experience leading the development of complex software systems with a proven track record of successfully delivering to customers.4. Strong knowledge of warehousing and fulfillment center process flows and best practices.5. In-depth supply chain, logistics and distribution industry knowledge and experience.6. Strong knowledge of SQL.7. Experience integrating solutions to internal systems, customers, and business partners – EDI, API.8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.9. Strong technical aptitude, fast learner, and effective problem solver.10. Self-motivated, goal oriented and capable of working independently and in a team environment.11. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.12. Great team player with positive attitude.

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
