Staff Writer / Knowledge Content Specialist Knowledge Content Specialist I South Ogden, Utah

Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. HX5 is seeking a qualified Staff Writer/Knowledge Content Manager at our Ogden Program Management Office.
Position responsibilities are to capture, organize, and categorize knowledge-based information in support of program execution, business development, sales, and proposal activities. This position requires extensive people, communication, project coordination, organizational and process skills; along with knowledge of business practices and priorities to support multiple projects with a high level of focus on quality, accuracy, and confidentiality in all work products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Developing, editing, and formatting professional reports using Microsoft Office software with a focus on creating high quality and contract compliant deliverables.
Conducting program research and creating written reports
Updating and maintaining knowledge repositories.
Preparing, proofing, and finalizing documents.
Creating Excel spreadsheets and analyze data using advanced features and functions.
Create, edit, and format .pdf files and forms using Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Maintain an efficient filing system for documents.
Establish and encourage process improvement to provide effectiveness.


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, English, or related field required.
Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro is required.
Effective and polished verbal and written communication skills with strong competency in grammar and attention to detail.
Process oriented, accurate, quality focused with excellent project coordination and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize to complete projects with tight deadlines.
Agile and flexible with ability to demonstrate openness to new challenges, opportunities, and continuous learning.
Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, internal and/or external to the organization and communicate in a courteous and professional manner.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Minimal travel may be expected. (This may include air travel.)
