SUMMARY
Coordinates and follows up on activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors and team members.

Direct reports: Inside sales team.

This positions mission as it relates to Cal Coast’s Mission:
Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand, keep over head to a minimum, place special orders in a timely manner, make sure customers and team are treated with the upmost respect, and maintain paperwork in an orderly manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Key Results Areas [KRAs].

KRA #1: Provide customers with exceptional service
This key result area will be satisfactorily achieved when: customers are loyal to CCI and are treated with the upmost respect

Always do what you say you will do
Meet or exceed customer’s expectations
Greet everyone with a smile and recognize them by name when possible
Encourage entire team to do all three above
Forward all sales leads and quotes to District Manager

KRA #2: Maintain adequate inventory levels
This key result area will be satisfactorily achieved when: normal stock items are always available

Keep normal stock items in stock at the proper levels
Place special orders while keeping costs low and freight to a minimum
Communicate with Santa Maria Purchasing agent on all bulk purchases
Communicate with District Manager about inventory needs and surpluses

KRA #3: Warehouse and Store upkeep
This key result area will be satisfactorily achieved when: Store is clean, organized, and safe

All orders are received quickly, put away in the proper place, and paperwork is processed promptly and accurately
Store and warehouse are kept clean and organized
Outdoor storage yard is organized and free of weeds and trash
Building and all workspaces are orderly

KRA #4: Manage staff and operate store with efficiency
This key result area will be satisfactorily achieved when: all store paperwork is maintained and produced with efficiency and accuracy

Make sure all items and jobs are invoiced properly
Balance and maintain cash drawer
Provide accurate shipping and receiving documents
Process time cards, vacation requests, and sick leave papers
Proper invoicing of special orders including freight

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises employees, in the Oxnard Inside Sales department. Responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring of employees; planning, assigning, scheduling, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED; and over three years up to and including five years of related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS EXPERIENCE
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS EXPERIENCE
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook Communication Management software, Word and Excel, and experience with Internet usage, PC and/or MAC and Windows.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and REGISTRATIONS
Valid State Driver’s License.

Good communication skills with both customer and team
Willingness to help others succeed.
