Center For Positive Changes (CFPC), is committed to positively impacting one resident at a time. We are seeking aFacility Manager to join our leadership team who has demonstrated high ethical standards and a desire to positively impact the lives of others. Under the supervision of the Facility Administrator, the Facility Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a licensed STRTP facility. The Facility Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the overall administration of residential treatment programs, which are planned and implemented to meet individual needs and goals of the residents in the areas of, but not limited to school enrollment, therapy, doctor appointments, and recreational activities. The Facility Manager is to ensure that the STRTP facility is operating in a professional, organized, and efficient manner and meet Title 22, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), andCommunity Licensing, and all applicable federal, and local regulations.
Education/ Experience:A qualified candidate must possess one (1) or more of the following:
1. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences (if hired after January 1, 2017)Or
2. At least 2 years of experience working at STRTP or similar population.
License or Certification:Valid California driver’s licenseValid CPR and First Aid Certification
Specialized Skills:Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate tasks.Effective and professional verbal and writing communication skills.Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with seriously emotionally disturbed children, staff, physicians, and the public.Demonstrated ability to effectively document special incidents.Extensive industry specific knowledge regarding operations, policies, and terminology.Training Experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of response to assaultive behavior.Demonstrated use of Universal Precautions.Adhere to all CDC guidelines in the facility. All employees and residents must wash their hands upon entering the facility.Staff must wear masks while on site and supervising residents and ensure common areas are sanitized throughout their shift.
1. Responsible for overall administration of resident programs, which are planned and implemented to meet individual needs and goals of the residents in the areas of, but not limited to school enrollment, therapy, doctor appointments, and recreational activities.
2. Develop and maintain a good working rapport with staff, residents, and other community agencies which serve the residents.
3. Provide direct supervision to residents on any assigned shift and apply the “Reasonable and Prudent ParentingStandards” to decisions involving the participation of a youth in age developmentally appropriate activities in accordance with rules, laws, and policies and procedures.
4. In concert, with the Facility Administrator, maintain and enforce resident ratio and fill in as part of ratio when needed.
5. In concert, with the Facility Administrator, supervise, train, and support Shift Supervisor and CCW to enforce compliance with CFPC policy and procedure and appropriate care and supervision are delivered to all assigned residents in accordance with Title 22, CARF, and Community Care Licensing regulations.
6. Document disciplinary action(s) if necessary when policies and procedures are not followed in compliance withCenter for Positive Changes policy and procedure.
7. Adhere to and enforce compliance with all CFPC policies and procedures, and CARF, STRTP, and Community CareLicensing regulations.
8. Manage the daily operations of the STRTP and communicate and collaborate with the Administrator on all issues that may arise. (e.g. staffing issues, concerns, training needs, and all information regarding resident’s behavior to inform the assessment and treatment plan.)
9. Implement and oversee the completion of daily schedule of activities.
10. Responsible for the general upkeep of the facility. including, but not limited to conducting general facility inspection and documenting maintenance needs, repairs, and utility set ups.
11. Perform fiscal custodian duties or documentation in the petty cash and internal control policies and procedures.
12. Implementing liaison with social services, parents, or probation regarding resident’s needs.
13. Timely audit and submission of staff timesheets to the Residential Director.
14. Responsible for on-call duties on a scheduled basis.
15. Schedule and facilitate bi-monthly facility staff meetings.
16. In concert, with the Facility Administrator, perform and document 30-day, 60-day, 90-day, Quarterly, and AnnualEmployee Performance Evaluations in accordance with CFPC policies and procedures.
17. Responsible for training newly hired CCWs and submit new hire documentation to Facility Administrator for review.
18. Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
19. Adhere to and participate in scheduled trainings and meetings as required.
