Tech Project Lead will work with the Ops Project, Vendor and Barclays internal Technology teams to deploy vendor solution through effective testing, deployment and implementation. Individual have to work with Ops Project & Tech teams to ensure seamless deployment. Responsibilities include support testing, deployment, maintenance and support in accordance with SDLC best practices. The role will require working closely and collaboratively with colleagues Globally.
What will you be doing?
Technology ownership for vendor application
Good understanding of Application Architecture and Design, Resiliency strategy requirements
Work with infrastructure and application teams to procure hardware where needed, setup system accounts (as per defined standards) and accesses, agree on system integration mechanism (to meet Barclays standards)
Resolve technical issues faced by the project team during project execution
Supporting and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process and LCT requirements
Partner with CTO (Chief Technology Office), Cyber Security and Support teams to ensure all changes are reviewed and approved in a timely fashion. Also own closure of any actions coming out of review with these teams.
Providing UAT/Integration Testing Support during SIT, QA and UAT test phases
Partner with users, applications teams and support teams to release changes to production environment
Provide post implementation technical support
Development experience with Windows Server Administration, Proficient in Database Management MySQL 8.0, Java Setup min ver 1.8, Windows Administrations, Autosys
Identify Technical Debt and partner closely with vendor, other infrastructure and tech teams to remediate it
Good understanding of Resiliency strategy requirements and understanding of system integration protocols

What we’re looking for:
Experience in taking technology product ownership for critical high availability application.
Should have evolved from Technical background utilizing one or more of technologies
Technical Project Management
Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts; Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology

Skills that will help you in the role:
Have good understanding on Middle Office and Back Office functions of an Investment Bank.
