Job Title: Technical Specialist
Department & Team: R&D – PLATFORM ENGINEERING – PLATFORM SERVICES
Reports to: Senior Director – Development
Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related disciplines.
Must have strong coding experience with Java.
At least 7 years of industry experience required.
Experience with Spring, Hibernate and other backend technologies is a must.
Cloud development and delivery experience in Google Cloud, AWS or Azure.
Should be familiar with and implemented code to address security vulnerabilities identified in OWASP, NIST, NVD CVE, etc. Should have used tools for identifying and fixing software security issues.
Must have extensive experience with common third party libraries and Open source code.
Comfort with development and troubleshooting in Linux and Windows environments
Must have excellent communication skills. Expected to interact with customers and other teams. Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, to work in a remote and sometimes asynchronous collaborative environment.
Demonstrated capacity to explain and communicate on complex technical, and architectural problems clearly and concisely.
Comfort with a highly agile and iterative software development process and working on aggressive schedules.
Enterprise software company (product company) experience.
Have a flair for getting things done.
Should be flexible and work well within a team, willing to perform evolving responsibilities.
Should be able to mentor junior members of the team.
This is a very senior technical position for technically leading and being responsible for a very complex and sophisticated Platform Administration and Configuration product.
