We build websites and digital solutions across an array of technologies, crafting a custom strategy for each project based on meeting the client’s goals for today and the future.
We’re looking for a UX Content Writer to lead client-facing content strategy initiatives and maintain copy excellence in all touch points across our projects. In this role, you will partner with a cross-functional team of product managers, UX/UI designers and the brand teams to develop and own the content strategy and approach for each client engagement. You will work closely with the creative and/or content strategist lead and members of the project team at all levels to execute concepts for digital experiences, specifically web-based UX and informational experiences. Additionally, you’ll interface directly with our clients to gather requirements, collect feedback and iterate and deliver project work. This role will report to the Director of User Experience and Content Strategy.

Collaborate with designers, strategists, developers and other subject matter experts to determine the conceptual and copy direction of digital projects.

Contribute to the user research and testing process, identify user needs and gaps in content and produce content inventories and audits, content mapping and modeling, voice and tone guidelines and governance documentation.

Break down complex topics into concise customer-friendly content, and prepare well-structured drafts for Content Management Systems.

Implement strong strategic, conceptual and copywriting skills (excellent writing, grammar and proofreading ability) to create new, dynamic, consistent and cohesive storytelling throughout a user experience.

Write content pieces that drive engagement and conversion across all stages of a user lifecycle. Content examples include: navigational copy, webpage content, blog or social media posts, white papers, emails and infographics.

Facilitate and lead client-facing engagements centered on content and content strategy. Synthesize feedback and input from multiple stakeholders, self-edit and improve copy according to feedback.

Anticipate client needs based on their objectives and explore innovative solutions to content issues. Meet deadlines, work independently, maintain focus; accountable and punctual, with a good attendance record.

Create or adhere to existing brand voice, tone and messaging for a company or product. See words as part of a user-focused design process.


Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Digital Communications, Literature, Marketing or related discipline

2-3 years of post-grad experience in an editorial or content creation role, crafting digital products and services within an interactive agency, design studio or in-house team

Portfolio of relevant examples, with UX focus, that demonstrates high-quality copywriting and concepts and includes: problems you helped solve, your contributions, customer and business impact

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Proven ability to write professionally for a wide variety of audiences and industries. Comfortable presenting and defending work to senior-level clients.

Understanding of user-centered design principles and processes

Highly organized with an exacting attention to detail and the ability to operate successfully in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment

Excellent time and workload management, experience managing multiple projects at the same time and working across multiple teams

Ability to work in Google Workspace, Slack, Figma, Asana, Adobe Acrobat, Keynote
