What we’re looking for:
Someone who understands the art of writing and structuring copy to move
people toward accomplishing a goal in an intuitive way through content.

You’ll be a part of the Razorpay Platforms design team and work closely with
our UX Designer and Product Managers on managing our platform (website) content
and campaigns. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working as a writer
within a product design team. Candidates having experience in copywriting, and
willing to expand their horizons, are also welcome to apply.

What you’ll be doing:

Work closely with the platform design team to brainstorm, research, and

design text from wireframe to development for the Razorpay platform’s landing

Create structured frameworks and style guidelines for communication and

content for the platform.

Create effective communication for platform campaigns to help aid

acquisition and cross-selling.

Create communication and content collaterals for Razorpay Rize (an

initiative to help tech-first startups scale)

Make data-informed decisions around writing and measure its impact, along

with user testing copy and messaging.

Collaborate with the user researchers, product managers, engineers, user

researchers marketers, and other business stakeholders to understand user and
business goals .

Collaborate with other functional unit’s (payments) content design teams to

contribute and build Razorpay’s content style guide.

What do we expect from you?

At least 2-3 years of experience in communications, UX writing, or


Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a solid grasp of UX

and copywriting principles

Have experience shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects and

experience working with product managers, design, and development teams

Are comfortable handling several complex projects simultaneously with an

ability to understand and discuss strategy, metrics, and results

Understanding of user experience and design thinking with the ability to

deeply understand the technical aspects of a product and translate that to a
general audience

Along with your resume, we’re looking for a portfolio with samples showcasing
your writing skills; content strategy; examples of instructional or learning
content; transactional emails; in-product content; and copywriting work focused
on user-centric principles with metrics and results that you’ve worked on.

Bonus points if you have experience working with financial products, and
design tools like Figma.
