We are a leading production supply rental company that serves the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, CA. We are currently looking to fill entry level, experienced warehouse staff, and management positions to strengthen our team.
Rate
$19.00 – $25.00

Warehouse Staff Position
Warehouse staffers are responsible for many tasks such as cleaning, prepping orders, quality testing, loading trucks, and unloading trucks. The ideal candidate must be safety minded and have excellent customer service skills.
Skills & qualifications:

Requires you to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19, subject to reasonable accommodation for medical or religious exemption
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
A California driver’s license is preferred
Must be reliable and communicate clearly and professionally
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to anticipate the needs of customers and warehouse processes
Ability to multi-task in a high pace environment
Ability to independently identify and complete tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform tasks in a professional, safe, and efficient manner according to company procedures and policies
Must be able to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Ability to work overtime, depending on the workload, with a flexible schedule

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Follow all health and safety regulations established by law or company policy
Complete all tasks in a safe manner, and according to company policy and procedures, while maintaining a clean workspace
Use proper safety equipment and productivity equipment such as steel toe boots, back braces, masks, walkie talkies, tool packs, etc.
Clocking in ready to work on time as scheduled or directed by a supervisor, complete with all required and/or appropriate work attire
Simple warehouse maintenance and repairs such as repairing sprayers, organizing equipment, taking out trash and recycling, etc.
Facility cleaning (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc.)
Restocking supplies used at company facilities, such as cleaning fluids, brushes, tapes, etc.
Check and test all rental equipment to ensure good condition and proper functionality
Resetting equipment to a storage state per company policy in a meticulous, complete, and detail-oriented manner
Preparing new product inventory for rental such as assembly or simple modifications
Accurately and efficiently pull and stage orders
Preparing orders in an organized manner
Assist clients in the process of checking-out or returning equipment
Safely operate different models of lift gates and material handling equipment such as forklifts, dollies, magliners, etc.
Load and unload trucks following all proper lifting, pushing, pulling, and cargo securing techniques as described in company policy
Relay all customer request, changes to orders to supervisors
Complete all paperwork completly according to company policy or direct instructions from supervisors
Check equipment stock keeping accurate counts and notifying supervisors of low inventory items
Maintain vehicles cleanliness inside cabin and cargo space
Read and understand maps and/or written directions
Properly assess and perform minor repairs to equipment
Moving trucks around property and transporting equipment between locations and or company storage spaces.
Driving trucks to perform pickups or returns of equipment to suppliers
Identify and report deficiencies or needs for repairs to management
Identify and report safety concerns to management in a timely manner
Operating vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, while always following all state and DOT regulations
Immediately report any problems with vehicles to a supervisor
Working in a team-oriented fashion to complete tasks in an efficient and safe manner
All other duties as assigned

Equipment Processor Position
Equipment Processors are responsible for the same tasks as the Warehouse Staff position in addition to the responsibilities below.
Skills & qualifications in addition to Warehouse Staff position skills & qualifications:

2 years or more of relevant experience is preferred
Previous experience working at Cal-OSHA regulated locations is a plus
Must have a driver’s license with a driving record that is acceptable to company’s insurance carrier
A California driver’s license is preferred
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Ability to operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmission is preferred but not required

Responsibilities may include Warehouse Staff responsibilities, in addition but not limited to:

Interacting with clients at location in a professional, polite, courteous, and helpful manner
Driving delivery vehicles to drop-off or pick-up equipment to clients at locations or studios, sometimes requiring work outside of normal business hours and potentially at night
Collecting, inventorying, and properly loading rental gear that is spread out at a pickup location.
Preplanning delivery routes to ensure on-time delivery of equipment to the client location
Delivery, pick-up, and return of sub-rentals
Using company vehicles to execute production specific requests or errands
Troubleshooting and resolving liftgate issues independently
All other duties as assigned

Management Position
We are looking for managers that are detail oriented and efficiently minded. Someone who can create a motivating environment with a high pace, high-volume workflow. Enjoys solving problems and leading others in a team-oriented manner.
Skills & qualifications in addition to Equipment Processor position skills & qualifications:

Experience managing groups of 10 or more employees is required
Must be able to motivate others and lead by example, keeping people on task focused on completing their work
Must be able to empathize with employees, and understand where they are coming from when discussing concerns
Must communicate honestly and transparently with co-workers, subordinates, and all other company personnel
Must be able to focus on many company initiatives that can move forward simultaneously
Must be able to maintain a positive and productive work environment
Must be able to anticipate problems and solve them before they become issues that negatively affect safety, customer service, and healthy business operations
Ability to come up with creative solutions to complex problems is a plus
Must approach task completion in a highly proactive manner
Must be able to clearly communicate with and train workers
Must be able to follow, and enforce highly detailed, thorough, written or verbal company policy and procedures
Must be able to make decisive and sometimes tough decisions that are in the best interests of the company, after doing your due diligence and assessing all of the options
Must be able to draft company policy and documents that facilitate company operations
Familiarity with mac OS is a plus, but not required
Must be familiar with computer software like Microsoft Word, and Excel

Responsibilities may include Equipment Processor responsibilities, in addition but not limited to:

Leading a crew of 10 or more members to make sure orders are handled in a timely on-schedule manner
Creating a plan of action, prioritizing tasks for themselves, and delegating to others in a high pace environment where orders can change frequently
Clearly communicating plans and priority tasks to team members, either verbally or written.
Keeping tabs on all of the employees to see what can be done to help them become better workers and develop professionally
Identifying and addressing safety concerns in a timely manner
Drafting and editing company policy
Oversite of personnel, enforcement and implementation of company policy or government regulations
Taking disciplinary actions when appropriate
Conducting safety meetings
Conducting employee reviews
Schedule planning
Maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Developing ideas to improve the quality of work or customer service
Identifying when to offer optional overtime to employees based on workload and when to require mandatory overtime
Performing injury assessments
Executing the company Emergency Action Plan including but not limited to completing and submitting workplace injury documents to appropriate entities in a timely manner as required
Staying knowledgeable/current with Cal-OSHA rules and regulations, and applying the regulations when applicable
Making promotional and career paths clear to employees
Keeping the client in mind at all times. Watching out for opportunities to start initiatives that can help the company stand out from the competition
Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, and suppliers. Placing orders, requesting quotes, doing product research, etc.

Working Conditions
Heaving lift activity may require you to lift up to 50lbs

It’s common to have to crouch, twist, reach, and bend while moving heavy objects
Work activity regularly includes lifting equipment, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, tugging, walking, standing, speaking, reaching, twisting, listening, seeing, grasping, pinching.
Work is regularly performed outdoors where weather conditions can be extreme. Exposure to hot and cold weather that can be wet and humid.
Environment noise may be loud caused by but not limited to trucks, material handling equipment, and other machinery.
Some environments may be dusty and visibility may be reduced.
Hazards from movement of mechanical devices, carts, vehicles, and other moving objects are regularly present.
When handling large amount of business activity work speed may need to be rapid.

Pay: $39,520.00 – $52,000.00 per year
